Surprise: It's a Prezi!
On an earlier project, Kevin reminded me of QSEN: Quality and Safety Education for Nurses. During my time with the South Bay Transition Program, I became very familiar with QSEN as it was the framework for the program. Here I have created a Prezi of "Quality and safety education for nurses" (Cronenwett et al., 2007) as found in the journal Nursing Outlook. Prezi seems to be a great tool that can help to organize information in a more intuitive fashion, and I look forward to becoming more adept with it.

OMG! Karen, as my younger kids would say, "this is tight". Your pick is a great, great teaching tool to make teaching and learning fun-filled. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, visit my blog and tell me how it is. I have tried Prezi and although I could not add much variations to my PPT which I used, I did have so much fun. This is yet another teaching gadget that I will develop my skills on.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, You are right ... the presentation is much easier to control and flows smoothly using individual frames.
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog! The wall paper is interesting, but not too busy. Your prezi is great! I didn't get too dizzy. Using the individual frames made a big difference. Your technical skills arre superior to mine. I'm going to try a prezi after the video!. My only suggestion is overall theme. I get a little confused with your varied posts, although community health is broad! Keep up the good work. I'm learning a lot by viewing your blog...thanks
Karen,
ReplyDeleteI love this concept. I have to try it out during the summer for work.
Just a thought. This may be something to use with specific topics where the concept presented could be short, specific, concise. In my opinion, this is a great teaching tool and you did a great job.
